Genuinely kind and Friendly staff. Charlene is an asset to your company. As a solo female traveller with social anxiety I was apprehensive when checking in but she made me feel at ease and greeted me with a warm welcome and offered to call a taxi for me when I was leaving. The vibe is very chilled in the lobby and feels inviting. I liked how you couldn’t use the lift unless you were a guest with a card that made me feel safer. I liked how clean the place smelled as soon as I walked in. Not a clinical smell but a lovely shampoo type smell. My room was clean and the bed was so comfy. The shower is deceivingly spacious.

It was a good bolt hold. The place was inviting and moving with the times, using technology to its advantage to improve efficiency particularly in the breakfast room. Having managed a hotel restaurant in Glasgow, I understand how helpful automated systems can be. The staff were really good also ... nothing too much for them. We had a minor issue with the room and brought it to their attention, they were very quick to apologise, even through it wasn't their fault and offer a free drink as comp.

Having stayed at this IBIS before, the room and bed were as expected - clean and comfortable and all facilities working. Good breakfast.; nice to be able to help yourself from large dishes, rather than lots of little plastic pots of yogurt, marmalade, etc. More environmentally friendly too! We particularly like the location - quiet but central enough that we can walk or take buses to most of the places we want to visit in Glasgow.

Very clean and lovely room, hotel in general was nicely presented. There was quite a lot of road works outside which we hadn't been made aware of, but we weren't overly bothered by that, some people would have liked the heads up about it though I think. The car park isn't right next to the hotel, its very nearby, but it caused a little confusion and meant us parking elsewhere. All in all, nice hotel and good value for money.

Great location, it was less than a five minute walk to The Garage music venue on Sauchiehall Street, the main reason for my visit. The location was also ideal for those wishing to go into the city centre of Glasgow which is just a short walk along Sauchiehall St. or you can use public transport, there's a convenient bus stop which is right outside the music venue.
